Athletic Director’s Corner

A message from Athletic Director Rob Passage.

Fall 2024

Spring is often considered a time of new beginnings, but for college athletics, the fall marks the arrival of new students and the start of a new year.

We welcomed five of our fall sports — football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s triathlon, and volleyball — back to campus in mid-August, with everyone returning the past few weeks. The campus, classrooms, and athletic facilities are alive with energy and excitement as we get ready to start the 2024-25 seasons.

There are several different ways to keep up with your favorite Bearcat teams this year:

  • Our athletics website should have everything you need regarding schedules, rosters, game results, and more.
  • Many of our home events (and some of our away contests) are available to watch via webcast on the Bearcat Network.  Links to each game are at that site or on our team schedule pages.
  • The athletic department and many of our teams are active across most social media platforms.  You can find and follow those accounts here.

We charge admission to many of our home events, but we want to invite alumni to return to campus and watch our games for free this year. Order up to four 2024-25 alumni season passes here, and get into every home event at no charge. All passes are delivered digitally and via e-mail. We do not provide physical copies of any season passes.

As we look forward to the future of Bearcat Athletics, we also enjoy honoring our past. In June, we inducted the 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame class and will soon begin the selection process for our 2025 class. If you know of any Bearcats you believe deserve this honor, please use our nomination form to let us know about them. The 2025 event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 14th.

I look forward to reaching out again later this year to update you on our fall sports seasons, preview our winter sports, and share ways alumni can help our current student-athletes in their sport and as they prepare for their journey after graduation.
Thanks for your continued support of Bearcat Athletics. We hope to see you at some events this year.

Go Bearcats!
