Anna enjoys collaborating with others to make her community a better place. This pursuit has taken her to Washington, DC with Teach For America, El Salvador for disaster reconstruction projects, and Louisiana where she leads multiple education and workforce-focused projects. She currently conducts research and collaborates with community leaders as the senior research associate at the Blanco Public Policy Center at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. A WU ’99 grad, she obtained her master’s and Ph.D. in city and regional planning from UNC-Chapel Hill. Anna is married to Michael Osland ’00 and has two boys, Jacob and Gavin.
