Mary Louise VanNatta graduated from Willamette University with honors and a triple major in Political Science, International Studies and Spanish. As an executive at VanNatta Public Relations, Inc., Mary Louise has consulted with organizations such as the NFL, NBA and Alamo Rental Car and has worked with numerous prominent figures including Barbara Bush and Jane Goodall.
Mary Louise has nearly 40 years of association management experience and is one of the few people in Oregon who has earned both her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the ASAE and APR from the Universal Accreditation Board/Public Relations Society of America. In 2007 she received the Excellence in Print Media Communicator Award for feature writing for Willamette University’s Cardinal and Gold Magazine and in 2020 was named “Woman of Vision” by the Oregon Daily Journal of Commerce. She is a member of the Salem Chamber of Commerce, South Salem Rotary and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Mary Lousie continues her family's Willamette legacy story. Not only is her son Ryan a dual-degree Willamette alum, her parents Mariel and Fred are also alumni.
